The 250 Jubilee is a celebration by the community, for the community — and we need your help to make it shine! From planning events to helping on festival days, there are countless ways to get involved.

Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a local organization, or a student looking to make a difference, your time and talents can help bring this once-in-a-lifetime celebration to life. We have opportunities for every interest and schedule — from setting up booths and games to assisting with parades, concerts, contests, and more.

High school students (grades 9–12 during the 2026–2027 school year) can also earn community service credits toward graduation by volunteering with the Jubilee. It’s a fun and meaningful way to serve your hometown, meet new people, and be part of Avon Lake history!​
