Official Rules

Teams must consist of 6-8 players.

All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Registration is open to Avon Lake Residents only.

Teams MUST be Co-Ed.

Each team must:

Choose a Team Name
-
Create a team uniform, costume, or coordinated look
-

Points will be awarded for creativity in both team name and uniform.

Location: Miller Road Park, Avon Lake, Ohio

Time: 11:00am-2:00pm
-
All teams will compete in a series of events; number of events depends on number of teams registered.

Events will run concurrently in designated stations, and teams will rotate as directed.
-
On-Site Child Game Area available at no cost during the event.

Points will be awarded for each event:
-
1st Place = 3 points
-
2nd Place = 2 points
-
3rd Place = 1 point
-

Additional points will be awarded for team name and uniform creativity.

The overall winning team will be the team with the highest cumulative score at the conclusion of the Avon Lake 250 Jubilee Olympic Field Games.

The winning team will receive a $250 cash prize.

Each event station will be overseen by two (2) official referees from the Avon Lake Historical Society.

All referee decisions are final.

In the event of a tie, a tie-breaking challenge will determine the winner.

Teams must register in advance by June 2.

Team Captains serve as the main point of contact and are responsible for communicating rules and updates to their team.

Follow all rules and referee instructions

Be mindful that events are physically active

Alcohol may be available for purchase on-site. Participants who choose to drink must do so responsibly. event organizers reserve the right to remove or disqualify any individual or team whose behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.

By registering, the Team Captain agrees to the liability waiver on behalf of all team members and confirms that all participants understand and accept the risks associated with physical activity.
