For more than 75 years, the Avon Lake Boat Club (ALBC) has been a valued part of the Avon Lake community, bringing residents together through a shared love of boating, Lake Erie, and friendship. Founded by World War II veterans, the club has grown into a volunteer-run organization that promotes boating access, on the corner of RT 83 and Lake Rd, while fostering strong community connections.

The club operates on property leased from the City of Avon Lake and is maintained by its members. In addition to providing boat and kayak rack storage, ALBC hosts social events and activities thorughout the year, including popular seasonal gatherings that have become traditions.
